These Letters
Nothing seemed right,
untill it was for you.
To this broken lamp,
like a source of light
came you.
These letters won’t bother you,
for they won’t ever leave my place.
The ink would just get dry,
and who knows, one day
these letters might get lost in haze.
Just the moon will know,
what all you meant for me.
Just the stars will know,
all the letters that I wrote to you.
These letters,
though so many,
yet they all depict the same.
I won’t ever stop writing them,
for these are my escape.
You are not close enough,
still I am close to you.
Because,
Nothing seemed right,
untill it was
for you.

Mystery
The light of the day,
didn’t seem bright enough.
The dimness of the dawn
didn’t make me care enough.
The voice at the shore,
didn’t make me blissed enough.
The beauty of the moon,
didn’t seem alluring enough.
But then my eyes turned,
towards you.
Never had I ever seen such,
such mystery.
All I wanted was to,
to get lost,
into the mystery
and then I never wanted,
for it to get solved.

Light
Even though a million miles apart,
even in the darkest of the nights,
the stars still find a way,
to shed light.
So,
There’s always the light of hope.
All you have to do is,
descry it.

I always look at you
and smile ?
You know why
I always say to you
that with you I am alive ?
You know why
I glow, when
you lay your hand on me ?
They say,
the moon is nothing
without its moonlight.
The stars,
they complete the night.
And you,
you are my moonlight.
You are my star.
When darkness surrounds me,
you come and give me light,and
take away all of my plight.
